Composite bearings are fine parts, so they should be used with great care. Even if the high-performance bearing is used, if it is not used properly, the expected performance effect cannot be achieved, and it is easy to damage the bearing. Therefore, the following items should be paid attention to when using composite bearing:
1. Adhere to the cleanness of the bearing and its surrounding environment. Even if the invisible dust enters the bearing, it will increase the wear, vibration and noise of the bearing.
2. When using the device, it is required to be careful. It is not allowed to punch forcefully. It is not allowed to hit the bearing directly with a hammer. It is not allowed to transmit the pressure through the rolling element.
3. Use appropriate and accurate equipment and tools, try to use special tools, and try to prevent the use of cloth and short fiber.
4. To avoid bearing corrosion, when taking the bearing directly by hand, the sweat on the hand shall be fully washed off, and the operation shall be stopped after applying high-quality mineral oil, and special attention shall be paid to rust prevention in rainy season and summer. However, under some special operating conditions, the bearing can achieve better life than traditional calculation, especially under light load. These special operating conditions are that when the rolling surface (track and rolling element) is effectively separated and limited by a smooth oil film, the surface damage may be caused. In fact, under ideal conditions, the so-called eternal bearing life is possible.
5. Service life of the bearing. The service life of the rolling bearing is defined as the number of revolutions (or working hours at a certain speed). For the bearing within this service life, initial fatigue damage (peeling or defect) shall occur on any bearing ring or rolling body. But no matter in the laboratory experiment or in the theoretical application, it can be clearly seen that under the same working conditions, the appearance of the same bearing is the same, and the theoretical life is greatly different. In addition, there are several different definitions of bearing "life", one of which is the so-called "working life". It means that the theoretical life that a bearing can reach before damage is caused by wear and damage, which is usually not caused by fatigue, but by wear, corrosion, seal damage, etc.
