1. How do you call the soft belt of the bearing race?

length of the flexible tape is about ten to ten millimeters. The PTFE
soft-belt bearing has a diameter of several tens of meters. It is
usually not more than twice the diameter of the roll body, and the
maximum is not more than 50 mm. Ball rings with ball plugs, the width of the flexible tape should not
exceed 35 mm in diameter of the plug, the hardness of the normal bearing
race: HRC 55 ~ HRC 62, and the hardness of the bearing raceway soft
tape: HRC 22 ~ HRC 27.
2. What are the factors of the soft band?
A: There are two technologies for the inner ring raceway and the outer
raceway of a large-size bearing when the surface of the heat treatment
step is quenched:
1) There is a blind zone between the start point and the end point of
the oil-free self-lubricating composite bearing quenched at the
beginning of the quenching equipment high-frequency head. This area has
not been quenched to form a low hardness area;
2) There is a junction zone between the start point orientation and
the end point orientation of the start quenching of quenching equipment
induction head. The self-lubricating thrust washer field constitutes a
partial annealing due to the secondary heating and constitutes a low
hardness region.
Therefore,
the hardness is lower than the normal hardness of the raceway
quenching, bearing professional said: soft belt bearing race, which is
technology and equipment can not be avoided today. The
length of the soft zone is determined by the size of the high-frequency
quenching head or the diameter of the roll body and the size of the
sensor. To make an analogy: Just as sometimes the phone cannot answer the
phone in the signal exchange area of the two base stations, there is a
blind spot in the phone.
3. Where are the soft zones of the outer and inner raceways of the bearing?
A:
When the slewing bearing is manufactured, in order to smoothly place
the steel ball and the roller into the raceway, a hole may be drilled in
the outer ring or the raceway of the inner ring. The
starting direction of the raceway quenching and the completion
orientation are around the hole, which constitutes a soft zone. In order not to let the ball or roller fall out of the hole, make a plug and call it a stopper. The plug (plug) has the same working surface as the raceway surface. Therefore, the soft belt of the outer ring raceway is in the area of the plug if there is no plug hole in other places. The soft zone of the inner ring raceway of the bearing is located
around the plug if there is a plug, and is randomly formed in other
places if there is no plug.
4. The symbol of the soft band?
A: The symbol of the soft zone: "S", which is the "soft" English: Soft's first letter. In order to tell the customer the orientation of the soft belt, the
operator of the bearing manufacturer will use the “S” symbol on the
inner surface of the bearing inner ring and the soft belt end of the
outer ring.
5. How to lift a large bearing device?
A:
Large-scale slewing bearings are hoisted by the crane when they are
installed. It is necessary to lift the bearings with three touches so
that all the bearings are evenly stressed and not easily deformed. If
the bearing is lifted with two touches and the bearing is deformed by
uneven force, the bearing will form a folded or warped deformation. Deformation will affect the normal rolling of the bearing.
6. If the device is installed in the soft zone to avoid heavy loads?
A:
When bearing units are installed, first look for the bearing's soft
band symbol “S”. After finding the direction of the load, you should
position the flexible belt as far as possible in the non-primary load
bearing area. If the primary load bearing direction is in the
north-south direction, it will be soft. The band area is placed in the east-west direction and vice versa.
