Self lubricating bearings are divided into composite self-lubricating bearings, solid inlaid self-lubricating bearings and bimetallic materials. According to different uses and working conditions, different self-lubricating bearings are selected. It has the characteristics of high bearing capacity, impact resistance, high temperature resistance and strong self-lubricating ability. It is especially suitable for heavy load, low speed, reciprocating or swinging and other occasions where it is difficult to lubricate and form oil film. It is also not afraid of water erosion and other acid erosion.
Because of the different environment, self-lubricating bearing will cause rust and other phenomena. If the bearing rusts, it will affect the normal operation of the bearing and cause unnecessary losses. Therefore, it is necessary to prevent rust to maintain the bearing.
First of all, in order to prevent the bearing from rusting, the surface should be pretreated as follows:
1. Surface cleaning: the proper cleaning method must be selected according to the properties of the surface to be rusted and the current conditions. The commonly used methods are solvent cleaning, chemical treatment cleaning and mechanical cleaning.
2. After the surface is dry and cleaned, it can be dried with filtered dry compressed air, or with a dryer at 120 ~ 170 ℃, or with clean gauze.
In addition, antirust oil can be applied by the following methods:
1. Soaking method: some small articles are soaked in antirust grease, and a layer of antirust grease is adhered on the surface. The thickness of oil film can be achieved by controlling the temperature or viscosity of antirust grease.
2. Brushing method is used for outdoor construction equipment or special shape products that are not suitable for soaking or spraying. When brushing, attention should be paid not only to avoid accumulation, but also to prevent omission.
3. spraying some large anti rust substances can not be used immersion oil, generally with about 0.7Mpa pressure of filtered compressed air in the air clean place spraying. Spray method is suitable for solvent dilution antirust oil or thin layer antirust oil, but must adopt perfect fire protection and labor protection measures.
